This Privacy Policy applies to Sawm Reminder (package ID com.sawmreminder.sawm_reminder), an Islamic fasting reminder application for Android and iOS published by Md Jashim Uddin, trading as Code Pulse.

Sawm Reminder is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is used.

Summary

Sawm Reminder does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. The app has no backend server. Everything it knows stays on your device.

Data Collection

The app stores the following on your device only, using the operating system's local storage (SharedPreferences):

• Your chosen location, or the city you selected manually
• Your fasting history and any custom fasting days you add
• Your settings: language, calculation method, reminder times, notification preferences, theme, and calendar adjustments

None of this is transmitted anywhere. It is removed when you uninstall the app.

Location Data

Sawm Reminder may request access to your device's location to:

• Calculate accurate prayer times for your area
• Determine the Qibla direction from your position
• Show your city name in the interface

Location is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted. You can also set your location manually by choosing a city, in which case the app does not request GPS access at all.

Notifications

The app uses local notifications, not push notifications, to remind you of upcoming fasting days and prayer times. They are scheduled and delivered on your device. No notification data leaves it, and no notification service receives your information.

Compass and Motion Sensors

The app reads your device's compass sensor to show a live Qibla direction. This reading is used in real time only. It is not stored and not transmitted.

Third-Party Services

Sawm Reminder does not integrate any analytics, advertising, attribution, or tracking service. It contains no ads.

The app uses Google Play's in-app update and in-app review APIs, and the equivalent App Store review API on iOS. These are provided by the platform, are invoked only when you interact with them, and do not give the app access to any personal data.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Since it collects no data at all, it is suitable for all ages.

Your Rights

Because no data ever leaves your device, there is nothing for us to disclose, export, or delete on your behalf. To remove all data the app has stored, clear its storage in your device settings or uninstall it.
